Last week, we showed you one of the player character miniatures available in Against the Giants. This week, you'll see two more, one uncommon and one rare.
Dragonborn Myrmidon
As one of the core races for the 4th Edition of Dungeons & Dragons, dragonborn certainly need representation in plastic. The Dragonborn Myrmidon is a double-whammy of newness -- not only is he a new race, but he is also a member of a new class, the Warlord.
This guy has one of the signature abilities of dragonborn -- an attack with dragon's breath. The Dragonborn Myrmidon has cold breath, but other dragonborn can have any type of damage available to dragons -- acid, poison, fire, etc. Its other single-use ability, Hammer and Anvil, is a warlord's 1st-level encounter exploit. If you hit your target with this attack, you give an ally the opportunity to make an attack. The warlord may become a flanking rogue's best friend.
Feybound Halfling
Now we jump from the tallest PC race in the new Player's Handbook to the shortest. I'm quite fond of this little guy, because this mace-wielding, fey-pact warlock is currently moonlighting as my wand-wielding wizard in a Thursday evening D&D game.

Against the Giants will be our third foray into Huge miniatures. For this set, we've once again reexamined how figures are distributed across the rarities. As in War of the Dragon Queen, there are six uncommon Huge figures and six rare Huge figures, with a rare Huge being found on average in one out of three boosters. We've changed how the other figures are distributed, too. In addition to the 12 Huge figures in the set, there are 18 rares, 21 uncommons, and 9 commons. In a single booster, you'll find one Huge figure (uncommon or rare), one non-Huge rare, three uncommons, and three commons.
As you might expect, Against the Giants contains a few giants and titans, all found in the 4th Edition Monster Manual. Previews of 4th Edition have mentioned the relationship between giants and titans, so for our first preview, you get to see two uncommon creatures linked to the ground beneath their feet.
Earth Titan
Formed from the elements, giants helped the primordials shape the world in the old times. The first giants were the titans -- huge, roughly shaped humanoids whose appearance clearly shows a link to the primordials and their elemental origin. Formed from the bedrock of the world, the Earth Titan is one such titan.

With the Republic sending colossal-class BattleMechs after its own Knights, forces on the outside have begun a more serious debate about peeling back the curtain to finish things once and for all. Such an undertaking will require resources, much like those discovered on a former Bannson holding, a moon named Hermione where uranium is plentiful, gravity is not, and enemies are in abundance.
Objective: Each player aims to defeat the other.
Battleforce Size/Composition: Two-player game; 300-point build total; three (yes, three) orders per turn. All units in a player’s battleforce must have the same faction symbol after any recruitment costs are paid or after any mercenary contract cards are played. Infantry without the words “Battle Armor” in the name cannot be used. Determine the first player per the MechWarrior: Age of Destruction rules; the first player then decides if he or she wishes to represent House Liao or House Steiner.

Wizkids has updated the official terrain templates for the MechWarrior, introducing a few new shapes and terrain templates featuring multiple kinds of terrain on them. All the terrain pieces now have details on them, buildings, trees, and actual water graphics, though they still remain two-dimensional. All terrain now features a colored line outlining it.
