      We made some changes for the Steam launch, added the sleeve drop in the campaign, and fixed the sorting issue on the draft UI.

      We are launching on Steam tomorrow and we will have a DLC package that includes a sleeve. We wanted that sleeve to also to drop in game so we made the change this morning.

      Servers are up but players that are not already in game will not be able to login. We are investigating an issue with the database.

      Invalid Request

      We are currently looking into a database issue that is causing players outside of the game to not be able to load in. Those that are already inside the game are experiencing very long loading times between screens and saving a deck. We will update you as we know more.

      Armies of Myth Launch Postponed

      Hello everyone,

      I am sorry for bringing you the news so close to the announced launch date but we are going to have to postpone. There are a few bugs that we still want to address including a fairly big memory leak that does not allow us to launch on July 14th. We will be launching Armies of Myth as soon as we can after the bug is fixed so I can't give you an exact day or time yet. If we have a perfect day today then that could be as soon as tomorrow but I consider that rather unlikely. The better bet is that we will be ready next week. Thanks for your patience and we will update when we have new confirmed information.

      New HEX Client - Should I Uninstall Everything First?

      The client is not any more new than any other big release. We did do updates to the patcher so the first thing that will happen on launch day is that your patcher will patch itself. After that you will download all of the changed files like normal.

      There is no need to uninstall and do a fresh install.

      Yes, this is correct. Unless there is some huge emergency we would not patch the live game so close to a release. Any live patch takes a good amount of resources to pull off and we want to spend of all our effort on the Armies of Myth launch update.

      This is always a debate internally and is something we can change during the life of the Test Server. My belief is that, at least in the beginning, the best way to test is to have everyone experience the game as close to the live experience as possible. Doing that we get full end to end testing and might find problems that we overlook.

      We putting up one more build with a couple more fixes. This is likely to delay the launch of the Test Server for 10-20 minutes. It will also require you to restart the patcher to get some of those changes once the update is complete.

      My take on Card Manager

      We do already have plans to improve this screen and, thankfully, they match up with quite a few of the comments here. The most obvious example is the space taken up by the header. Some of those will come quickly and others will be phased in over time. We do appreciate the feedback both positive and negative.

      There is a known issue in the patch notes about not getting feedback that you sent a whisper if you are in the general tab. Have you tried sending a whisper while on the Social tab?

      Sockets not noticable enough in new frames

      We don't want the shape of the socket to change because we want to keep the feel of it being that it is an actual socket that you are putting in an actual gem. We also want to do what we can to not obscure the art which the larger socket did in the old frame. We have always planned for more to be done with the socket to make it stand out a bit more and that is coming. Don't expect it to shoot 3d fireworks or anything but we are trying out some options.

      Sealed Tournament Bug Report Thread

      We don't want to rely purely on data. Without full interpretation of that data you end up making assumptions that are not always correct. We want to collect player experience and match that up with data to get the clearest picture.

      As for things being load related. That is a bit of a simplification. One example is a bug that occur 1 out of 100 times. That bug does not happen because of load but it becomes visible because of the volume of games.

      The tournaments that were going when we applied the fix are likely to have gotten into a bad state. I don't know enough about the system (not an engineer) to know if that would keep you from starting PvP games for a while.

      The server is still locked but you should be able to start patching. Patching may be VERY slow for a little while.

      Ozawa bug

      Ozawa and the rest of the new cards that appeared from nowhere were unintended. Most of these cards will not work properly. We do expect them to be going live with our next update. We would advise that you don't use these cards until they are patched out in the proper manner. Sorry for the confusion.

      New Cards in Client

      The data for these cards going out was an unintended consequence of the changes we have been implementing to correct the login and deck loading issues. Since the server may not have the data for these cards we would ask that you do not use them. Using them could create some very odd behavior including games just not starting. Don't worry, all of these cards should be out for real in the next update.

      We didn't change the way we were sending invites but we did have a problem with the big batch we sent. This means that a chunk of invites in the middle of that batch did not get to their recipients. We are working on getting all of those invites out today. We understand that this doesn't make the situation any better for you individually and we are doing our best to get it all sorted out.

      Pass Priority bug after patch 813 against AI

      The game stalls that happen against the AI are usually not the same as what we call the pass priority bug. There are still a few hangs with the AI that we are chasing down.

      Has anyone gotten a stuck game against another player since the patch?

      It had to do with messaging between the client and server. The only way to really test is to play games.
